The Mermaid Art Gallery
The Mermaid Art Gallery has my collection of
mermaid fantasy art some by my most by other artists. The pieces are recent, not from another centuty, and cover just about every type
of media. I have separated my collection of little mermaid pictures into different sections for your convenience.
This first mermaid art gallery has my own original 3D art. I used to paint in watercolor, and I still love it, but back in the mid-90s I was seduced by digital fantasy art and I have never looked back. 3D is a difficult medium to work in and very slow. It would be much faster to draw or paint pictures than to create them on a computer. After you have done this for a while you gain a whole new respect for the computer graphics you see in movies.
More Fantasy Art
Pieces by various artists whose work I admire.
My clumsy attempts to produce cartoon-like mermaid images. I hope you like them just the same.
Inexpensive poster art became very popular during the 1960's and has remained so to this day.
Prints are better quality reproductions than posters. At their best they are extremely faithful to the original.
The pictures here are done with pencil, charcoal and pen and ink. I also include computer generated art which appears to have
been drawn with pencil or other traditional methods.
category is the largest. Most pictures are difficult to categorize in
any meaningful way so I have just lumped them into one section. Further
breakdown is for load time.
