Beautiful Mermaid Art

"There is nothing more beautiful than beautiful mermaid art" to paraphrase Alberto Vargas. Though as far as I know Vargas never painted a mermaid. He was a good artist but he was not interested in fantasy - or was he? His women were always perfect, perfect faces and bodies, perfect make-up and hair. Perfect clothes if they were wearing any. Their expressions were always happy and something else either sensual or exuberant or playful. No real woman could ever compete with them. Maybe Vargas was interested in fantasy but not the obvious type like mermaids or goddesses or aliens. He was in to the fantasy of the perfectly beautiful women.
